ROSE a new plaid

Nature and its organic forms are the founding inspiration for this new collection. 

The graphic sign refers to a study by H Ü T T E for a woodcut. The image of a rose had been decomposed into modules inlaid separately on wooden blocks. These signs, repeated and recombined, created a texture reminiscent of a rosetum, or a cascade of leaves.

H Ü T T E mixes a baby extrafine Merino wool yarn, twisted in two colours, in parallel with a pure hemp yarn. The hemp is worked with an alternating stitch that looks like embroidery.

The dialogue between different materials is part of the continuous research of a new expressive language and and new technical solutions. The use of hemp together with wool gives life to a product with a strong heat-regulating capacity and soft texture with a good touch feeling. Hemp yarn behaves like Merino wool: cool in summer and warm in winter. Hemp fabrics combine strenght with softness, to obtain products that are particularly comfortable, crushproof and durable.
